I wanted to focus on what I think are a number of short-term solutions for Fallout 76 that could hopefully be rolled out soon. They are not massive changes, but they range from improvements in quality of life to at least give players the confidence that the game is moving in the right direction.

This list is not exhaustive, and some of them are probably longer than I imagine with my limited knowledge of development, but here's what I proposed.

Some buff ammo

Although ammunition management has always been an essential part of Fall, the problem with Fallout 76 is that, because of the real nature of the game, it actively punishes you for your difficult fights, because if you lose or have to retreat, you can not just reload and try again, you must reappear. This means that you lose the ammunition spent in the fight. A complicated solution would involve some sort of re-donating your recently spent ammunition for reappearance, but I think a good starting point would be simply … to find more ammo in the world of course than you do now . Not one huge buff, because you should always make significant choices regarding the engagements and the gun you are using, but the ammo is exhausting right now because of the real nature of the game.

Slightly polish the durability of the article

Again, the same logic applies here. Having the durability of an object in a game is one thing, but with these encounters, even if you die, the damage remains, which means that your material is breaking all time, unless you spend a significant amount of points in bonus cards that reduce it. That's fine, but I think the sustainability of the building block needs to be improved, and the lowering of repair costs would also help. I do not ask for the total elimination of this system (which I would not mind, honestly), but things are not great at the moment and need a boost.

Remove the maximum cost of a quick trip

That's one of those decisions out of 76. I really do not understand at all. I think this may have something to do with the fact that PvP players can not track down people around the world for free, but in practice, it seems like it really limits the number of people in the world. exploration to the point that it is exhausting to try to go back. in old neighborhoods, because there are only a handful of "free" spawn points, including your camp, that often disappear and cost money to move. What I would particularly like to see is reducing the speed with which percentages change when targeting, as they can go from 95% to 15%, from 80% to 23% in less than a second. I think that when the enemy moves, the percentages should increase and decrease gradually. It is hard enough to judge if your shot will hit because of the nature of the system, but add percentages that change quickly and you will feel like a real miss. I also think that some melee enemies need to see their speed reduced to counter these ultra-fast ghouls / rats / wolves in previous games, which was to slow them down with VATS.
