It's been several months since we've heard of Fallout 4 New Vegas, the Obsidian fan project in the role-playing game Bethesda Game Studios, launched in 2015"S Fall 4.
Team F4NV released this video yesterday showing the character creation sequence that opens Fallout: New Vegas in their game updated. You can see the remodeled Vit-o-Matic where the Mail chooses their SPECIAL build, and listen to an updated version of the Doc Mitchell theme that the modders music track has developed.
It's a new actor who's also talking about Mitchell, and he's doing an almost virtuoso job with the land wasteland doctor. Also note: Wild Wasteland is still part of this game (the advantage was only available for New Vegas) and even get an animated icon of Vault Boy, with sound effects, like all the others.
Full credits are in the box about the YouTube page. There is more information on the mod website and on the Facebook page. The project still has no turnaround time – understandable for mods of this size with unpaid fans. But the clips that Team F4NV shows are talking about something with a high level of finish. Fans of what some consider to be the best Fallout RPG will probably want to see it in the new engine of the series.
