I'm not usually one for convertibles, but for a 2019 Aston Martin DB11, I'll make an exception. It's a sleek and beautiful machine with a menacing V8 soundtrack to boot. Aston Martin has just sent me the sticker (aka the Monroney) for the press loan I've had over the weekend. You want to watch with me?
The fuel consumption of the DB11 was, for lack of a better word, hilarious. Aston Martin quotes him for a combined rate of 20 miles per gallon. I do not know what it was actually because I was stuck in the treasure of traffic in New York this weekend, but I had the impression that the gauge to Essence was perpetually reading that we were half-tank. Even after filling.
And then we come to the options. Stupidly, I thought that there was not much more than you could get to the top of a car that already has a retail price of $ 216,495. "This is not a Porsche!" I laugh to myself. How wrong I was!

And $ 1,595 for the red brake calipers. Dude, if you remove the wheels for me, I'll hide the brake discs and the rest of the car and spray paint for you. And I will charge you a fraction of the price.
He also came with a very nice umbrella tied in the trunk. It was a solidly made, quality, double-rib umbrella with "Aston Martin" and "Made In England" written on its brushed aluminum handle. $ 295. Cool.
I feign indignation, of course. It's an Aston Martin. Of course, even the most basic things will be tagged. In fact, the only thing that triggered a kind of outrage was the price of black piano trim.
We graded the front interior trim and the black piano fell somewhere in the middle. But I did not write this story. If I had, I would have stuck the black piano where it belongs: Dead last.
It looks good after it has been cleaned, but as much as brush it with a finger and boom! A morbid footprint right there. It becomes very quickly filthy and feels cheap when you hit it.
There was a shocking amount of black piano in Aston. He ran along the center console, through the door panels and covered the rear of the front seats. The cost of black piano trim inlay? $ 2,690. The cost of black piano files? $ 1675. Good storage and good night.
The DB11 Volante is a beautiful car. His interiors are beautiful too. At this point, I would be fine with just about anything. Even, like, the stone. Just use something other than the black piano.
