Treyarch developer organizes a beta this week for Blackout, the new royal battle mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4".

The minimum and recommended specifications are basically the same as those of the multiplayer beta, Treyarch said in a Reddit message released Monday, with one exception: Blackout requires more space on the hard drive. The complete specifications are listed below.

The beta version of Blackout PC will begin September 14th at 10 am, for anyone who has pre-ordered a digital version of the game. The beta version then opens to anyone who has a Battle.net account from September 15 at 10 am Pacific Time. A PlayStation 4 beta debuted earlier today.

Blackout takes combat, characters and settings from the "Call of Duty" franchise and combines them with Royal Battle elements made popular by games like "Fortnite" and "Battlegrounds". areas on which players will compete, including Rivertown, Nuketown Island, Fracking Tower, etc.
