Initially announced three years ago, Final Fantasy VII Remake Fans immediately had the hump at the thought of experiencing the Cloud adventure with stunning visuals and updated gameplay. With E3 2018 now behind us, JRPG fans are naturally upset by the lack of new information on Final Fantasy VII Remake at the big show for the third year in a row.
In an interview with Multiplayer, director Tetsuya Nomura admitted that Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced far too soon. It does not really help us at the moment, but we can hope that Square Enix will learn from that and be a bit more strategic with its ads next time. Nomura said: "I am well aware of the fact that we have announced it too early, but even in the industry, the word was starting to spread as we were working on the game. So we decided not to not keep it more secret. "Everything is fine to prevent fans from asking, but the premature announcement seems to have fueled the fires of frustration more than anything.
Nomura said that the unveiling of Kingdom Hearts 3 was also made too early. "Deciding when to announce your game to the public is always difficult, in our case, we receive fan pressure even when we do not announce anything."
We recently discovered that Tetsuya Nomura puts an equal effort into both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake. Kingdom Hearts 3 should go out in January 2019, so it is safe to assume that he and the team will be focusing on Final Fantasy, so I hope we will not have to wait to play on the next PlayStation.
