Heroes of the Storm, while functioning as an independent game, also served as a basis for everything Blizzard has created. His characters and levels are all from Blizzard franchises, from the best known – Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft – or old classics like The Lost Vikings. For the first time, he is now ready to introduce a completely original character.
The first big announcement at the opening ceremony of the BlizzCon 2018 was the revelation of the latest addition to the HotS list, Orphea. This is a white-haired character who is the daughter of Lord Corbeau. She wears on her back a large shield adorned with a skull and presented with a cinematic trailer laying out her background. This was followed by a game montage showing his abilities, which seem to center on the summoning of giant demonic entities to attack his enemies.
Orphea will be free for all BlizzCon attendees, as well as anyone who purchased this year's virtual ticket.

Blizzard also announced some of the new content coming up in 2019. This includes an update of the catapult as well as new quests, fights and appearances. A new look that was highlighted was the concierge's concealment of the skeleton king, as well as a floating bar soap holder. You can see them in the video below.
More details on the future of HotS should be announced this weekend at BlizzCon.
