HomePod can get phone support and multiple timers

The beta would respond to a relatively small but important demand: several timers. As with Amazon and Google, you can set a timer for cooking vegetables on the stove and another for roasting in the oven. Other additions include a HomePod version of Find My iPhone, a Spanish language support and a "Fix WiFi" function that allows the HomePod to connect to your iPhone network in case of discrepancy (you have already had to reset the HomePod to solve this problem). ] There is no guarantee that these features will make the cut for the usual updates of Apple's fall software, assuming they make the cut at all. It took months for Apple to bring the multi-speaker stereo and AirPlay 2 to the HomePod, despite the promises of both in 2017. And these would still not meet the biggest problems of the HomePod, as its lack of multi-user voice recognition. If that happens to be accurate, however, the HomePod would be easier to sell to people who want more than a puffy music player.
