The last leg of the Master Ives murder quest has been launched and will strike you with a lot of nostalgia. When you load Destiny 2you will be asked to return to Amanda Holliday who will give you the new mission on EDZ. To begin this quest, go inside the Whispered Falls quest. You do not need to kill the boss nor any of the enemies to actually start the quest.
This quest is really nostalgic for anyone who played the original, so we have a spoiler below for the detailed procedure. For those who want to stay blind, know that at the end of the quest, we will have confirmation that you will get the Exotic Thunderlord!
Spoilers below
When you have finally completed the mission, you will be back at the very beginning of the Destiny. Your task is to infiltrate the wall of the Cosmodrome, kill the dead, and then escape. Head to the entrance to the wall and kill all the fallen who hang out.
Once you have made your way inside, continue along the path and eliminate all the enemies you encounter. They are pretty easy, so it should be too difficult. Continue on your way up to the great room with the drain pipe at the end.
Once the boss has appeared, place on him with everything you have. This battle is a matter of speed, because the captain will constantly generate enemies for you. It is very easy to be swarmed during this fight, so focus as much as you can on the captain. After hitting about 50% health, a great servant will appear to protect the captain. Kill that Servant as soon as possible, then finish the Captain.
For this fight, we recommend using a shotgun because most of your fights will take place at close range. The enemies will invade you if you stay still and the boss moves so that he will eventually fill in the gap. Focus only on removing ads when you absolutely must. After the fall of the boss, leave the room and go to the teleporter. This is the last time we visit the cosmodrome, so feel free to explore. Once you have arrived at the teleporter, the timer starts and you will be asked to return to Holliday.
After talking with Amanda at the tower, bring the engram that she told you to the Cryptarch. This will always decode in the Thunderlord, giving you the very first LMG in Destiny 2. Congratulations Guardian, you deserve it!
