The Chrome web browser was starting to have a bad press after problems with extensions and then worry about automatic login. Google listened to the complaints and promised to do something about it – the result is Chrome 70.
But Chrome 70 is not limited to changes to security and privacy. Google has also used this version to introduce a handful of new features. One of the best is the picture-in-picture mode (PiP) that allows you to watch a video overlay while still browsing other sites. Here's how to use it.

If you have not already done so, you will need to update your copy of Chrome to version 70. To do this, simply press the menu button and then click Help> About Google Chrome. Chrome checks for updates and makes sure the latest version is installed.
This done, you are ready to experience the image in the image.
The operation of the feature depends entirely on whether the owner of a site or not. As a result, you will not be able to use PiP with any videos you encounter. It works on YouTube, though, and it's a good place to test it.
- Find a video and launch it.
- Right click on the video window and the YouTube menu will appear.
- Click again with the right mouse button to display the Chrome context menu.
- Select the Image option in the image and you are ready to go.
One thing to note: Even if you are free to browse other sites while playing the video, you should keep the original tab open.
