Huawei's next Mate 20 Pro has full leaks

Huawei is kidding October 16 as the launch date of its next flagship product, Mate 20 Pro, but you will not have to wait so long to know the details of the new phone: just about all (up to a few high resolution images) fled, courtesy of WinFuture.de.

So we know exactly what the phone will look like: a large 6.39-inch OLED display with a notch on the top and a chin on the bottom with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. Like this year's P20 Pro, the Leica system Triple camera at the back with 40 megapixel, 20 megapixel and 8 megapixel lenses. (The Mate 20 Pro organizes its cameras in a square, instead of a straight line.)

The front camera in the widest notch is still a 24-megapixel shooter, but Huawei is expected to add an IR laser system similar to the iPhone X and XS to further enhance the unlock function of the P20 Pro's face. There is also an on-screen fingerprint sensor and wireless charging capabilities, which were noticeably absent on the P20 Pro.

Curiously, the Mate 20 Pro is also supposed to work as a wireless charger. So, you can share the battery life of a Mate 20 Pro to wirelessly charge a headset or a friend's phone while on the move, assuming the report is true.

The leak also claims that even though the Mate 20 Pro will not have a microSD slot, it will support Nano Memory Cards – a new Huawei proprietary memory card format in the form of a Nano SIM card, which will have capacities up to 256 GB.

For internal hardware, the Mate 20 Pro comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, depending on the country and model. (The exact phone number is not yet known.) The phone is powered by Huawei's latest Kirin 980 Octacore Kirin 980 processor, which he says would offer significant improvements in speed and energy efficiency over to previous Huawei chips and its main competitor, Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm We will have to wait to see how the Mate 20 Pro resists in real life before making a judgment.

A battery of 4,200 mAh, IP68 protection against dust and water, and the latest Android 9 Pie (running under the skin of Huawei EMUI 9.0, of course) complete the whole.
