Apple has updated its Tuesday iPad Pro range with two new models: one with an 11-inch display and the other with a 12.9-inch display.
This is the biggest update of the iPad lineup for years. The old home button, which takes you back to the home screen, disappears. Instead, you now unlock the iPad Pro with your face (using the Apple Face ID) and use gestures to edit or exit applications.
These changes allowed Apple to reduce the size of the glasses, turning screens of the same size as previous models into smaller tablets. The 11-inch version roughly corresponds to the size of a notebook, for example.
Many other changes have also occurred, such as replacing the Apple Lightning charger with the USB-C cross-platform standard.
With these changes, the price increases: nowadays, the smallest iPad Pro costs at least $ 799. The largest model starts at $ 999. And this price can skyrocket if you get all the benefits, including a new keyboard case, more storage space and an LTE modem.
