Kill la Kill fans have been calling for a video game based on the popular anime for years, but hope has been steadily diminishing as the first show of the series to Kill the Kill the Game: IF was announced more early this year.

The arc system works, the game's publisher, has recently announced a new platform for the game, as well as two new playable characters that would add to previous heroes and Elite Four members, including Nonon Jakuzure and Houka Inumuta.

The 3D arena fighter developed by APlus Games will now make its debut on the Nintendo Switch, alongside its originally planned versions for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Harime Nui and Ragyou Kiryuuin have also been announced as playable characters in the Brawler, who will likely serve as antagonists of the game because of their roles in the history of the anime. This could change, however, since Kill the Kill the Game: IF will stage a new story centered on Satsuki Kiryuuin as a protagonist.

We do not really have a good idea of their game styles among the few screen shots published so far for new characters, but Harime Nui will likely be based on speed and tricky tactics , while Ragyou will master one of them. The screens show multiple explosions arising from the ground.

Kill the Kill the Game: IF is expected to come out worldwide for all three systems in 2019. You can check out the new screenshots of Harime Nui and Ragyou in the gallery below via Famitsu.
