The Pixel 3 is expected to draw attention to Google 's material event on Tuesday, October 9th. But the real star will be the artificial intelligence of refitted smartphones as well as many other products unveiled by Google.

"Each of these devices will have an artificial intelligence component," said Ramon Llamas, director of mobile research at IDC's market research firm.
This means that products are able to collect information – sometimes in the form of voice commands, sometimes recognizing objects – by processing them and responding appropriately to the context.

This should not be surprising if you follow Google. The company's recent developer conferences, including the most recent, held in May, highlighted efforts to capitalize on its advances in speech recognition, machine learning and AI.
Smarter phones, smarter photos
Yet, to hear the theory in theory is one thing and to see it concretely. And Google's next hardware event gives us the opportunity to see how the AI can impact the products we buy and use.
The Pixel 3 seems to be a showcase for this, especially with its cameras.

According to some rumors, the pixel support could support the wizard, which would allow you to ask questions and perform actions even when your Pixel 3 is locked.
Even a change unveiled before Google's hardware event highlights the important role that artificial intelligence plays in its various devices. Google introduced this week a new interface for the Google Assistant, which focuses on improving the visual elements of an otherwise voice interface. One of the reasons for this change is clearly to make Google Assistant a solution for personal speakers and display hubs, which includes the Google Home Hub, which should be unveiled next week.
"Google are not draws," Llamas said. "It's about keeping the users in this ecosystem."
And it seems that one of the means envisaged by Google is to offer products with built-in intelligence that complement each other.
