For us mere mortals without followers, making money as an influencer on social networks seems extremely easy.

As for Grown-ish the actor Luka Sabbat, paid by the PR public relations agency Snapchat (PRC) of Snapchat to promote Shows with publications on Instagram.

But now he is being prosecuted for not doing his job.

According to a lawsuit filed Tuesday at the New York Supreme Court, Sabbath received an upfront payment of $ 45,000 under an Influence Marketing Contract worth $ 60,000 for four unique positions.

Sabbat, which has 1.4 million Instagram followers, was scheduled to post an article on Instagram and three Instagram stories from him at New York, Milan or Paris fashion week. One of these messages would include a link to Spectacles, smart sunglasses that can record short videos for Snapchat.

Part of the agreement also meant that Sabbat had to be photographed wearing glasses while he was in public during Milan Fashion Week or Paris.

He also had to send Instagram posts to the CRP for approval before publishing and submitting the analyzes to the firm within 24 hours of publication.

In the end, Sabbath would only have posted a message in the Instagram feed and an article in the story, would not have submitted the messages for approval, and would not have provided an analysis within 24 hours.

Sabbat is also accused of not having been photographed at least once wearing glasses in Milan or Paris. How awful.

"Based on the foregoing, PRC stated that Sabbat was in violation of the agreement and demanded that it return the $ 45,000 that PRC had paid to him," reads the complaint.

PRC alleges that Sabbat knew that he had breached his obligations but had not returned the funds to the company. He claims the $ 45,000 paid to Sabbat, as well as 45,000 other damages.

Snap Inc. has confirmed that it has a contract with PRC for marketing support, but has not pursued the complaint against Sabbat.

Snap's second test on high-tech spectacles, Spectacles 2, was launched in April. Sabbath was contacted for a comment.
