According to the latest data compiled by the analytics company Mixpanel, iOS 12 is installed on 12.27% of Apple devices. The share of iOS 11, accordingly, fell from 89.96% Monday to 79.86% Thursday. Devices running iOS 10 or older only account for 7.87% of devices in the wild.
As MacRumors points out, the adoption of iOS 11 has reached 10% just 24 hours after its launch. In 2016, iOS 10 reached 14.45% of devices after the first day.
For comparison, the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, 9.0 Pie, launched on August 6, 2018, and whose distribution is less than 0.1% as of September 12. devices while 2016 Nougat sits on 30.8 percent of devices.
