Apple has announced the recall of some iPhone 8 devices due to a manufacturing defect of the motherboard.
Company officials said the recall had an impact on "a very low percentage" of phones that might unexpectedly restart, whether the experience screen freezes or does not turn on.
The phones were sold between September 2017 and March 2018 in the United States and other international markets.

The reminder has no impact on the iPhone 8 Plus or other iPhone models.
