If you like MacBooks, you should take a look at the Surface Laptop 2. It is thin and light, as you would with a MacBook, but even beats Apple with some new features.
On the one hand, it has a touch screen.
It is convenient to reach out and touch an icon or change the application via the touch screen. You can also buy a stylus and use the screen to mark documents or adjust a Photoshop image. I like the fact that Microsoft still includes a more traditional USB port for keyboards, mice and other peripherals, instead of following Apple and forcing users to use USB-C. There is no SD card reader, however, so that's important to you.
Like the Apple MacBook Pro, the Surface Laptop 2 runs on the latest eighth generation Intel processors. They are more powerful than the previous generation, at least on paper, but I did not really notice any difference by working all day in a web browser. Most things seemed fast and I could still use Photoshop to edit images. Without dedicated graphics, this is not really a machine for hardcore games, so keep that in mind.
