Launch Samsung Galaxy A6 in the UK this summer

The South Korean appliance maker Samsung has recently announced that the Samsung Galaxy A6 will be launched in the UK this summer. The Galaxy A6 was launched last May at the same time as the Galaxy A6 Plus, and both devices are already available in a number of markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America. The smartphone maker also said its mid-range terminal offering will be sold by some UK reseller partners, and that interested consumers in the UK will be able to choose from the three available color options of the device : black, gold and lavender. Samsung has not provided any information regarding the price of the Galaxy A6 in the UK, although previous reports mention that in Europe, the device comes with a price of 309 €.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 is powered by the Exynos 7870 chipset, which is comprised of an octa-core 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 processor running at a maximum clock frequency of 1.6 GHz. The device contains 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, and is available in hardware variants that include 32 GB or 64 GB of internal flash memory. The handset's internal storage can be expanded with the help of a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB. The smartphone sports a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9. The camera is equipped with a single rear camera, equipped with a 16 megapixel sensor with autofocus and an aperture of f / 1.7, while the front camera has a 16-megapixel module with an aperture of f / 1.9.
