Leaked images of alleged SIM trays for iPhone's 6.1-inch illustrate five color options

Photos representing alleged SIM trays for the upcoming 6.1-inch low-cost iPhone were released today in a selection of different colors, including gray, silver, red, blue and brown spaces.

The picture was shared on Twitter by Ben Geskin, a broadcaster who often highlights images from Chinese social networks and other similar sources.



It's unclear if these SIM bins are legitimate, but rumors have suggested that Apple plans to release the 6.1-inch iPhone in several color options. Apple would have considered colors such as gray, white, blue, red, pink, black and orange.



Last week, images of 6.1-inch iPhone models in white, blue, pink and red began to circulate, but at least one of the colors does not match the dummy model and the SIM tray visible here, like the map. Blue SIM. the plateau appears clearer.


The 6.1-inch Apple iPhone should be equipped with an LCD and a single-lens camera to cut costs compared to two OLED devices being built .

Rumors have suggested that Apple could perhaps call the least expensive device the "iPhone Xr". Other potential names have also circulated, including "iPhone 9" and "iPhone Xc", recalling the iPhone 5c that was available in several colors.

Apple is expected to unveil the new 6.1-inch iPhone alongside the 5.8-inch OLED "iPhone Xs" and the 6.5-inch OLED "iPhone Xs Max" at an event that will take place tomorrow morning at 10:00 am Pacific time.
