The big event on Google's hardware will take place on October 9, and we get a clearer picture of what we can expect from the show over the days. The event is touted as "the Pixel 3 launch event," but the two material events of the company featured five or more product announcements. In addition to the Pixel 3, a Pixelbook 2 is a good option, and with the launch of Google's Smart Display software on third-party hardware at the beginning of the year, it seems inevitable that we will soon be seeing a first Google Smart Display.
Luckily, MySmartPrice today recorded images of the "Google Home Hub", a product that is clearly Google's flagship material for its Smart Display software. The device has a 7-inch touch screen and basically looks like a 16: 9 tablet mounted on Google Home Max. Some of the images, which resemble a list of disclosed stores, display some other features: Wi-Fi 802.11ac at 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth, a 'ambient and color light sensor, a broadband speaker for a crystalline sound. , "and" far field voice recognition. The list shows the available display in two colors ("chalk" and "charcoal"), with Google's traditional mute switch on the back and what appears to be a video chat camera on the front.
With dimensions of 178.0mm × 118.1mm × 67.3mm (7.02 "× 4.65" × 67.3mm), the Google Home Hub is significantly smaller than the 8 "Smart Display. Lenovo (9.3 × 5.6 inches × 4.38 inches × 142.21 mm × 111.36 mm)). But Lenovo's display is an inch more.
Hopefully, the "Google Home" brand on this device will help Google fix some of the disparity in functionality between a Google Home speaker and Google Smart Display software. Currently, smart screens can not join a group of Google Home speakers for the entire home audio and also do not support the "Conversation Continuous" mode. The hub looks a lot like Google Home, with the white colors and the gray fabric cover.
We hope to learn more about the device on October 9th at the big Google show.
