Leaking "Fortnites" Halloween skins include a very scary scarecrow

It's almost a month to Halloween, but we're already in the spooky spirit with special events in multiplayer games like Overwatch. Fortnite is the latest in the festivities, as new leaking skins offer many ways to scare other players.

Shared on the Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks Twitter page, a number of new cosmetic items are added to Fortnite, many of them focused on scarecrows. These include the "Straw Ops" outfit and the "Hay Man" outfit, both of which have lots of hay and shiny, terrifying eyes. In the case of the feminine outfit, there is also a large sunflower for a belt buckle, and the mouth of both outfits is roughly sewn.

New gliders have also been added, and both are sure to leave their opponents frozen in fear. The "Wraith Field" looks like a scarecrow and can appear as two of them when you get off the ground. The scarecrow's hands move even under the wind, giving him the impression of being alive.

The "dark glyph" seems to be inspired by the strange runes that players have spotted in the past month. Maybe our questions about them will soon be answered!

But that's not all! "Back Bling" for scarecrow and alien fans are also coming, as are two new picks. The "Harvester" is essentially a knife stuck to a stick, while the "Thunder Crash" seems to include a unicorn head as a mallet. One seems a little more formidable than the other, but the logic has no place in Fortnite.

Given the frequency of updates we've seen since Fortnite so far, we bet that the skins presented are not the last that the game will receive before Halloween. Epic Games recently added the "Chiller", a trap that sends unsuspecting players to slide and advance at high speed. This can also be used as a backup tool.

Given the original premises of the game, Halloween seems to be the perfect time to enter Fortnite. The game is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, iOS and Android, with full cross-platform support across all platforms.
