LG Electronics briefly showed how the V40 ThinQ smartphone will appear in a 30-second video.

The video, dubbed Design Concept Video, highlights the importance of the color, feel and shape of the phones and shows what the V40 ThinQ will look like.

The number five is referenced in various ways in the clip in Korean, English and Chinese, as well as in the number of objects, which probably corresponds to the number of cameras on the phone.

The clip shows the back of the phone which clearly has a triple camera. The front camera will probably be double. The light sensor and the laser sensor are hidden.

LG said in a statement that it uses the sandblast method to cut the glass from the back cover so that it is soft but remains solid.

The matte colors of the phone will be subtle and the phone will be more resistant to fingerprints. LG has also confirmed that the phone will have a 6.4-inch screen.

The V40 ThinQ will be available in carmine red, platinum blue and Moroccan blue, all briefly featured in the clip.

Earlier this month, LG has decrypted the features of the phone's camera.

The new phone will be unveiled worldwide on October 3rd in New York.
