LG V40 ThinQ pre-orders start early

In the coming days, we will finally see the latest competitors in the smartphone market in 2018. But not to forget, LG has just pushed pre-orders for its own competitor by the end of 2018 a little earlier than expected . The LG V40 is now available for pre-order. Expeditions should begin this week to try to beat the other competitor of the triple camera before reminding the market that he was the first of the tendency to degenerate quickly.

There is no doubt that its three cameras are the defining feature of the LG V40 ThinQ. Although not quite new since Huawei launched the idea in the Huawei P20 Pro earlier this year, it is the first and the first LG smartphone manufacturer. Samsung has followed suit in the mid-range, but, like everyone adopting this new craze for cameras, they are still trying to find the right formula.

In the case of the V40 ThinQ, the combination includes a normal wide-angle camera, a very wide-angle lens (but not much wider than the V30) and, most recently, a 2x optical zoom. But that's not all. The V40 is also equipped with two front cameras, wide and wide, respectively at 80 and 90 degrees.

In all other aspects, you get what's pretty much the standard 2018 flagship smartphone package, like a Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable memory. Fortunately, the LG V40 ThinQ also retains the headphone jack that goes with the highly announced feature of LG's 32-bit Quad DAC. And still in the audio department, the V40 also retains LG's new Boombox feature that uses the entire body of the smartphone as an amplifier.

Not surprisingly, none of them are cheap. The total price of the LG V40 ThinQ ranges from $ 920 to $ 979, depending on the origin. Here is a quick overview of carriers and retailers and their prices.

• AT & T – $ 31.67 / month for 30 months ($ 949.99)
• T-Mobile – $ 38.34 / month for 24 months ($ 920.00)
• US Cellular – $ 24.99 / month for 30 months ($ 899.70 in advance)
• Verizon – $ 32.39 / month for 24 months ($ 979.99)
• Best Buy – $ 949.99 (unlocked)
• B & H Video Video – $ 949.99 (Unlocked)

As with all smartphones nowadays (except Apple), LG adds some pre-order gifts to mitigate the shock. If you place an order now until October 18th, you will be able to get a free gimbal and a 256GB micro SD card at home. Given the end of the pre-order promotion and AT & T's personal note, we can expect the LG V40 to be available from October 16th to 18th.
