LG is expanding its range of 32-inch displays with a new 32-inch display, the 32UK550-B. This screen supports 4K, HDR and AMD FreeSync technologies at a starting price of $ 500. That means HDR10, 3840 x 2160 pixels and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut on a screen that measures more precisely 31.5 inches. It will be factory calibrated for color with 3000: 1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time, and 60Hz refresh rate. It uses a VA panel and has 178-degree viewing angles.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports that support HDCP 2.2 for HD and HDR content, as well as a DisplayPort input. The monitor will have two built-in 5W speakers as well as a headphone jack.
At the moment, this monitor is only available in Japan, but the price of 500 USD matches perfectly with other LG's larger screens. The screen LG 32UD60-B is regularly selling between 500 and 530 dollars, against 400 dollars last week. This monitor does not support HDR10, so, the new LG screen may be worthwhile to expect that HDR content is important to you.
