Laguna Seca is becoming a popular track for builders who run their vehicles. Just weeks after Jaguar announced that their I-Pace had set an "EV Tour Production Record" on the track, Lucid announced today that their future Air sedan was beating this time with a time of 1 : 41.67 compared to Jaguar 1: 48.18.

In addition to their time of 1: 41.67, Lucid achieved an even faster lap on the race tires. Last year, Lucid also managed to control the air at a speed of 235 mph (378 km / h) around a high-speed test track. Looks like this car certainly has more than the performance needed to go around.

Their record is still topical because Lucid's car is not yet in production and their prototype has been significantly altered.
