macOS Mojave developer beta 11 for Mac now available

We are not out of the beta season yet. The beta 11 of macOS developer Mojave is out today. As always, we will explore the latest beta and highlight all the changes between the first beta and the latest beta below.

MacOS Mojave includes a dark mode at the system level; a new type of dynamic office wallpaper; Stacks to organize files on your desktop; a new Gallery view and quick actions in the Finder; more actions available in Quick Look; new screen capture and screen recording features; Continuity camera to take pictures on iPhone for use on Mac; Applications News, Stocks, Home and Voice Memos; a new Mac App Store; and much more.

macOS Mojave will be available to all users on Monday, September 24th.

In beta 2-4, we saw these changes:

  • The Mac App Store can now be narrower, ideal for small screens
  • Cards now uses a dark card in dark mode
  • Apple is highlighting a bug with newer MacBook Pro modes: "On MacBook Pro models with Touch Bar (2018), adjusting screen brightness settings may not take effect.
  • Second dynamic screen background: Solar gradients
  • Grab app replaced by Screenshot (opens the new screenshot HUD)
  • Many new traditional wallpapers as a result of the new dynamic wallpaper of the latest beta, download them here
  • The home application removes the existing screen backgrounds, now includes three color options
  • FaceTime group delayed 🙁
