Meanwhile, information on iPhone production cuts continued this week. According to a report released this week, Apple reportedly reduced production orders for the iPhone XS and the iPhone XR, citing difficulties in forecasting demand with a three-tiered lineup. In addition, the Wall Street Journal announced that Apple was lowering prices for the iPhone XR in Japan and was reviving the production of the iPhone X in some markets.
