Using the hexagonal nut in his chest like an axle to turn his arms, Melmetal can inflict a double strike on his opponent. The Pokemon society also revealed how trainers can turn Meltan into Melmetal. Transforming Meltan into Melmetal can only occur in Pokemon Go after getting 400 Meltan candies.
Pokemon Go coaches will be able to catch Meltan once they receive a mystery box. Coaches will receive the mystery box after transferring their first Pokemon Go at Let's go. The box will close after use, but will open after a while.
