Microsoft sends out press invitations for Surface event on Oct. 2

The next few weeks will be announced as a dream of gadget lovers.

Apple will announce the launch of new iPhones and Apple Watches on September 12, Google will unveil its Pixel 3 on October 9, and now Microsoft is preparing something for October 2.

By joining its biggest rivals, Microsoft sent out press invitations for a product event to be held in New York next month.

The invitation does not provide much guidance on what to expect. He simply says, "A moment of your time" in gigantic letters. Microsoft smartwatch? Can not be … Group 2 did not light exactly the world on fire.

So, what can we expect from the upcoming Microsoft event? Last fall, Microsoft hosted an event in New York to announce the 15-inch Surface Book 2.

We hope that this year there will be updates for all of its Surface devices. Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, Surface Studio, and Surface Book applications must all be refreshed.

The smallest Surface Go published a few months ago should not be updated.

One thing you probably should not expect: a surface phone. It is time to abandon this dream. Under Satya Nadella, it is clear that the company's strategy is to put its software and services on iOS and Android.
