A few months ago, Alan Wake – the cult cult of Remedy Entertainment – was removed from the list of different storefronts like Steam and Xbox Live. This was mainly due to the fact that the licensed music contracts had expired. Renewing them represents a lot of work, and it seems that the studio and Microsoft have solved the problem with those who gave them permission to use their music.
Today, Remedy announced that Alan Wake was back on the Steam Store on Twitter. According to the studio, other platforms should follow very soon. You can read the company statement below.

The game features Alan Wake, a successful thriller writer, who suffers from blocking writers and can not continue his latest novel. In an effort to revive his spirit, he and his wife Alice go to the mountains for a short vacation in a desolate hut. As Alan returns from a nocturnal walk in the woods, he arrives and finds his wife being dragged into the lake by an unknown force. It is at this moment that the adventure begins.
If you have not already played Alan Wake, be sure to check it alongside American Nightmare by Alan Wake. These are terrific and disturbing experiences, even to this day. The game is currently reduced to just $ 3 on Steam. Given its age, even modest devices can work very well.
