Microsoft has announced improved cart and wish list experiences at its online stores for Windows 10, Xbox One and the Web.

"We are always looking for ways to improve the discovery and purchase of the products and services we sell," said Chris Swenson of Microsoft. "Today, we are delighted to announce that customers can start using our enhanced shopping cart and, later this week, our new Wish List, two of the features most requested by our fans."

Microsoft added basket and wish list features to the Microsoft Store in August. But with this new update, which will soon be deployed, both features will receive important updates.

The cart originally worked with games and applications, but it now supports other store items, such as hardware and accessories, on the Xbox One, Windows 10 computers and the Web. It is also persistent on every platform.

Likewise, the wish list is being updated to support both digital and physical items. It will also be persistent on all platforms. The wish list will also support the selling price, so you will always get the best price.

These features are currently being tested on the Xbox Insiders and Windows 10 Insider Preview programs and will be released in the coming weeks, Microsoft said.
