Minecraft MINECON Earth 2018: Pillows, Pandas, New Dungeons Game

Like any other successful game, Minecraft's hype has gone out of fashion over time. But unlike most other successful games, its reach continues to expand, both in the game and in other areas, that the developers Mojang could have imagined would never have imagined. At its annual MINECON meeting, the company announced what would follow at the beloved survival game based on voxel-based voxel. Including the one that comes out the sandbox and turns Minecraft into what is probably its next most logical form.

With a game like minecraft, you might think that its expansion will be primarily focused on adding and additional content. You would be half correct. There will be new "characters" in the game, which will take the form of friendly old villagers in English. But as in Old England, you will also have to deal with crossbow looters. Fortunately, you too can create your own crossbows, as well as anything else in this world of voxels. And yes, they add a kindness overload with the pandas.

But Minecraft is also a sandbox game. Part of its growth is therefore to give players the tools they need to shape the virtual world as they please. Although Minecraft did not directly support mods, Mojang offers creative readers the best thing to do. Enhanced add-ons will allow players to add more crowds, control animations, and add nice particle effects. And a future scripting API will dramatically increase the number of creatives that creators can bundle into their resource packs.

But what if you are tired of the monotony of building and trying to survive the night? Why not try to survive? Mojang has just unveiled its new spin-off game, Minecraft: Dungeons, which takes up Minecraft's beloved aesthetic and turns it into an exploration robot of action and adventure dungeons. You can play alone or, since it is dangerous to go alone, team up with up to three other friends.

It will take quite some time for these new features to land. Minecraft Dungeons, for example, will not come until 2019 and only for the PC initially. The Village and Pillage update will be released early next year, while the scripting API "will be available soon". The new add-ons, however, will arrive on October 3, but only for those on beta versions.
