Mustang Bullitt's first roles in 2019 off the assembly line

(WXYZ) – The first 2019 Bullitt Mustang came out of the assembly line this week, just months after the appearance of the special edition sports car at the International Auto Show. North American auto 2018.

-Liter V8 that packs 475 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. 50 years later, the Bullitt features a Dark Highland Green exterior with chrome accents, an all-digital 12-inch dashboard and black leather-trimmed seats.

"This new Bullitt is, like Steve McQueen, effortless," said Darrell Behmer, Chief Designer Mustang. "As a designer, it's my favorite Mustang – devoid of scratches, spoilers and badges – it does not have to scream about anything – it's just cool."

"When you make a Bullitt, there are certain things that it absolutely must have," said Carl Widmann, chief engineer of Mustang. "He must have the right attitude, he must be unique in some way from a Mustang GT, and most of all, he must be bad ass."

The car is on sale for $ 46,595 plus a destination of $ 900 and shipping costs, and will be delivered to customers later this summer.
