New game sequences and new characters have been revealed for Death Stranding at TGS 2018.
Hideo Kojima today revealed a new character for Death Stranding at the TGS 2018 panel. This character will be played by Tommie Earl Jenkins.
The character seems to look like Skull Face of Metal Gear Solid V but that's just the design. In addition to that, another new character played by Troy Baker was revealed to the panel. He seems to be a villain in the game world, although the details around his character are shrouded in mystery. It has been shown in gameplay images.
The veteran of the Metal Gear Solid series, Yoji Shinkawa, also shared his new concept for the main character of Death Stranding, played by Norman Reedus.
In addition to showing the character, Kojima also revealed new gameplay sequences for the game, which gives us insight into what we can expect from these new characters, as you can see below.
Troy Baker and Tommie Earl Jenkins will join Lea Seydoux, Lindsey Wagner, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro as stars of Death Stranding.
Death Stranding will be released exclusively for PS4 and is being developed by Kojima Productions. Sony publishes the game and finances it too. The game uses the Decima engine created by Guerrilla Games.
