A new Fortnite fix is planned for Wednesday, October 10, announced developer Epic Games. This is the 6.02 patch, and for now, there is no official word on what it will contain, but there are some clues.

What we do know is that Epic is shutting down the Fortnite servers as of 1:00 am, 4:00 pm (ET) to present the update. The patch notes will be released at that time, so keep checking GameSpot for more details.

Fortnite's news feed shows that a new weapon, the Quad Launcher, will arrive soon. This gun allows you to fire up to four rockets at a time. This weapon will probably arrive with the 6.02 update, but presumably there will be other additions and modifications as well.

Another possibility is a new set of weekly challenges to come. Check back regularly on GameSpot.
