Tile is back with two new Bluetooth trackers offering better battery life and replaceable batteries, as well as a new premium service adding many additional features to the existing infrastructure.

Read on to find out everything about the new trio of products.

Tile Pro 2018

Last year we tested Tile Sport and Tile Style, Tile's most powerful trackers at the time, to determine exactly what Tile's flagship experience brings to the table. Now, the company has taken the lead with the new Tile Pro, even more powerful.

It seems that Tile has consolidated the sport and style of the 2017 Tile Pro series, which means that this year's best tile is a unique product.

The Tile Pro has a black plastic finish on silver metal (instead of the black on black Tile Sport last year). A white version on silver is also available in multi-packs (pricing below).

Inside, Pro range has been extended to a theoretical maximum of 300 feet (from 200 feet on last year's models), while the speaker is now twice as powerful as the Tile Mate, smaller and more conservative. The biggest advance, however, is the addition of a battery access door.

Peter Groom, Tile Sales Manager for EMEA, explained that the company had spent the last 18 months in research and development and was designing its new tiles to accommodate a removable battery, one of the most requested features by the user base of the platform.

This hijacks the existing reTile program, which allows customers to exchange their existing sealed tiles once the built-in battery has run out for a year, against the latest equivalent version of their tracker at a discounted price.

The addition of a removable battery means that the Tile Pro reduces the IP68 protection of its predecessor to dust and water, but its life remains as long, about a year. You can now replace it yourself when it is running. low.

As far as pricing is concerned, Tile Pro is available in a single pack of £ 30, a double pack of £ 50 or a pack of four at £ 90. You can get a single or double pack of black Tile Pros or a combo with a black Tile Pro and a white or two of each.

Tile Mate 2018

In addition to the new flagship tracker, the Tile Mate also receives a noticeable upgrade with a range of up to 150 feet and a removable battery for the user.

As for the 2017 Mate, only one tile will be sold at £ 20, while a pack of four will cost £ 55. A combined pack including two new Tile Mates and two Tile Slims sells for £ 65 as well.

Premium tile

Users can already manage their existing tile tracks, easily add them, and share tiles with another user, but the company is now introducing a new premium service that includes six additional exclusive features. These are:

Smart Alerts – Previously, your phone was warning you when it was out of reach of a connected tile, but with smart alerts, the service will adapt to your traveling habits using data points. such as frequent / frequent trips to warn you only when he thinks you have unwittingly moved out of range of a connected tile while you did not want it.

Location History – Users will be able to see an independent location history for each of their mosaics for up to 30 days.

Sharing Your Mosaic – At the present time, mosaic owners can share their followers with another user at a time, but Tile Premium subscribers can share their mosaics with an unlimited number of users.

Extended Warranty – Tile extends the one-year warranty provided with each default tile tracker to three years for Tile Premium subscribers. This covers every mosaic associated with your account, not just one mosaic at a time.

Customer Care Premium Text Line – You can already send an email to Tile Customer Support when you have questions or issues with your tile tracking, but Premium members can also use a stand-alone text line for direct contact.

Free Replacement Battery – Premium customers will be able to get a free replacement battery each year for each of their mosaics at no additional cost.
