In India, Mercedes-AMG recently launched the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe at a price of 2.55 ₹ crore, and within days, the company could have revealed another model. According to reports, the high-performance Mercedes-Benz brand is working on a model to position between the C43 and C63 that needs urgent refilling. Yes, the company is considering an AMG C53 version now, as the recent report suggests that the C-Class will soon get a new variant, which will most likely debut next year in Geneva.

According to documents published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mercedes-AMG has filed an application for the variant 'AMG 53, which will be delivered with the same engine of the AMG E 53 and AMG CLS 53. In addition, the company could introduce the lightweight hybrid system with the new AMG C-Class model, which will total 430 hp and 520 Nm.

But, if the company plans to introduce the AMG C53, expect Mercedes-Benz to stop the AMG C43, in order to make room for a newer version. Although the company has recently introduced the new C-Class, we expect the AMG C43 to remain a few years before seeing the hammer.

Aside from some minor changes here and there, the AMG C53 will also get a different exhaust system with new exhaust outlets. Mercedes-Benz will also present the new AMG performance steering wheel on the upcoming AMG C53.
