Destiny 2The fifth season, Season of the Forge, begins tomorrow, November 27th. Like all seasons, Forge offers new rewards to players, even if they do not have all the new content.
In season 4, Destiny 2 Players were able to create a competitive PvP for Luna's Howl, a powerful handgun. But in season 5, Bungie adds new weapons – weapons drawn from specific activities and designed to work well there – like Luna's Howl for Gambit and strikes, as well as the competitive multiplayer mode.
All of these weapons come with their own elaborate quests. However, the new Crucible weapon is much harder to achieve than the Gambit and Strike weapons. Each weapon is legendary and also has a distinct appearance, albeit a modification of the existing model.
The loaded question is the rush weapon for strikes this season. It is a high-impact fusion rifle with a unique advantage: Burst Reservoir. When Loaded Question has a complete magazine, the first shot inflicts additional damage and explodes the enemies killed, causing damage to nearby enemies.
The quest to win a busy question takes a lot of time, but not very difficult. During the season, players will have to complete 40 strikes or fall off the night, get 1,000 casualties with a bow and 500 attacks with Fusion rifles.
In Gambit, players will be able to work towards Breakneck, a precision automatic rifle. The Breakneck Assault is Onslaught, which allows the gun to fire faster when there are more stacks of active Rampage, a bonus of damage obtained after killing three times. To have the Breakneck, you will need 500 automatic rifle shots, 150 fearsome enemies, 100 multiple rifle victories and 40 Gambit-type fights.
The last flagship weapon of season 5 is The Mountaintop, a kinetic grenade launcher obtained from the Crucible. Unlike other grenade launchers, The Mountaintop fires a "micro-missile," which looks exactly like this. The projectile moves very fast and without a bow, which makes it much easier to reach targets. On its default setting, the missile explodes when it hits a wall, but you can also switch to sticky grenades for a more trap-oriented gaming style.
The summit mountain quest is the toughest of all Pinacle weapon quests this season. First, players will need to rank Glory Brave (Rank Two) in the competitive playlist. After that, the players will have to perform some exploits in multiplayer mode: 750 points with grenade launcher (three points per kill in non-competition, 10 in competition), 200 multi-kill points (two points per double in non-competitive , five in competitive) and 100 calculated trajectory points (one point for each medal won in non-competitive, four for the competition). To win the Calculated Trajectory Medal, players will have to kill three opponents with a grenade launcher without dying. For the final stage of The Mountaintop, players will need to reach the rank of Fabled (Rank Four) in the competitive playlist.
Unlike previous Pinnacle weapon quests, Season 5 weapons can all be won on any character, and progress toward one of them will be shared among them. These quests will also persist beyond Season 5, although specific goals (such as reaching Fabled) are reset at the beginning of each season.
Season of the Forge will be released on November 27th. Next week, Black Armory, the first mini-extension included in the annual pass for Destiny 2, will be published on December 4.
