The new Overwatch hero is not at all what you expected. Although it's okay Hammond, the character that players suspected was adding up, it turns out that Hammond is an adorable hamster. A new update for Public Test Realm Overwatch has added Wrecking Ball, as it is known in the game, along with other character changes detailed in the full patch notes. But whether you're reluctant to jump into the PTR or whether you're a PS4 or Xbox One player, you may not have the opportunity to try it before being brought to the game live. There is no release date yet for the Wrecking Ball update, but in the past, it may be a few weeks before July.
That's where we come in because we spent time with Wrecking Ball on launch day, putting it to the test and trying all of its abilities. Its two signatures – the rolling around and the giant automatic weapons known as quad guns – are there with the ability to swing using the grappling claw. He can also jump into the air with Piledriver to collide with the ground, dealing damage and dealing damage to nearby enemies. His ultimate, Minefield, deploys a bunch of nearby mines on the ground around him.

If you own Overwatch on PC, just jump into the Battle.net client and click on the drop-down menu under Region / Account. From here you can select the PTR client and download it – it is completely separate from the main game.
