The new Adventure Sync feature is being rolled out on Pokemon Go coaches this week.
The new option allows players to track more data from their game, while getting new rewards.
But some players with access to Adventure Sync have already encountered youth problems.
Problems with Sync that do not work have affected many trainers, Niantic sharing a long post about the current issues that concern him.
Adventure Sync is currently being announced for players of level 30 or higher and is expected to continue to roll out over the next few days.
It will eventually be available to Level 5 and above trainers, although these glitch reports may slow down the publication.
For those who do not know, Adventure Sync is an optional mode that allows trainers to record their kilometers traveled even when the Pokémon Go app is not open.
That means winning Buddy Candy and hatching eggs without significantly affecting the battery life of your device.
When your Buddy Pokémon has found Candy or when an egg is about to be born, you can activate it to receive a push notification.
This will also come with weekly fitness reports to track progress and earn rewards for reaching weekly milestones.
The weekly rewards are divided into three different lots, based on the distance you have traveled during this period.
The best rewards are unlocked if you cover 50KM, the following options are available for those who reach this milestone: 20 Poke Ball, 10 Great Ball, 5 Ultra Ball.
- Rewards 25 km: 20 Poke Ball, 25 km of awards, 20 Poke Ball, 10 Great Ball – 5000 Stardust.
- The 5km awards include 20 Poke Balls.
Trainers who want to use Adventure Sync must enable location permissions and sign in to Apple Health or Google Fit.
To turn it on, press the Main Menu button, tap the Settings button, and then tap Adventure Sync.
You will be asked to grant permissions to Pokémon Go to access your Apple Health or Google Fit data.

ADVENTURE SYNC DOES NOT WORK
Data is obsolete or incomplete
- It may take several hours to synchronize your steps. As a result, the most recent data is not always visible.
- The power saving mode of your device may disable the sensors required for Adventure Sync and interfere with the functionality of this feature. Please disable the power saving mode of your device when using this function.
- Fitness data entered manually in Apple Health or Google Fit is not taken into account in the progress of your Adventure synchronization.
Adventure Sync does not monitor any physical progress
- Make sure the device has the sensors needed to track your distance and your steps. Open the Google Fit or Apple Health app to make sure your device is correctly recording your fitness progress.
- If you have an HTC One M8, your phone may be incompatible with Google Fit and you may not be able to use Adventure Sync.
