The latest Nintendo Direct have had a segment on Super Smash Bros Ultimate, with the brawler occupying much of the direct series aired during the E3.

And fans have wondered if another loved character, who made his mark in the 64 days, could be revealed today.

The internet is full of rumors that Banjo Kazooie could be revealed for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

The fans hope that this rumor could be realized with the hashtag #BanjoForSmash.

Banjo Kazooie's rights are owned by Microsoft as a technology giant, Rare, who has made some of the most popular N64 games.

But after Microsoft and Nintendo have teamed up for Fortnite Cross Play, Windows manufacturers are more likely to let Ninty use that character.

And Phil Spencer, the manager of Xbox, reinforced these hopes when a fan on Twitter asked him if Microsoft would be willing to let Banjo Kazooie appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

He simply replied, "Yeah."

And as always with a Nintendo Direct, rumors surfaced before Animal Crossing Switch was finally announced.

In parallel, he posted: "I will spend the hours!"

While a member of the ResetERA forum known as King Zell also said, "Well, I heard that tomorrow maybe the day and we could see animals !!! But I'm not sure.
