The Nintendo E3 2018 issue was brimming with incredible games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Pokemon Let's Go. However, there were a handful of notable franchises that could not be found during the show. Everything from Metroid Prime 4 to Yoshi, and even Animal Crossing to Mother 3 – many of us have been wondering where some of the most iconic titles of Nintendo have been.
That being said, we dug a little deeper and contacted Nintendo to discover the fate of some of our favorite franchises.
Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon 2019
Sending to IGN, Bill Trinen, director of product marketing at Nintendo, revealed that Nintendo wanted to focus on a shorter window this year rather than showing some big surprises from last year like Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon RPG.
"There were other things that we could probably have included in E3, but that is probably a little further, and so we decided to keep a little more attention between now and then early 2019, which I think you've seen clues out there with some parts, "Trinen told IGN.
"We want to show things when we think it's ready to show in. Obviously, it's not as if we had stopped working on one of the things we talked about." last year, all of this is being worked on, "added Trinen." We're just going to show things when we're ready to show it and really, right now, the focus is on two big games in the form of Smash and Pokemon [Let’s Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu]"
Mother 3

"Fill in the empty field of your favorite franchise.Our mentality will be that we will announce information close to its launch date in relation to people's mockery for years."
Son-Loves reacted in the same way as a potential Western version for Mother 3, a game we asked her in recent years.
"Once again, we know, I know that there is a fan base for this title, all I can say is that we are aware of it," he said. "It's something we always think about in terms of IP reintroduction opportunities to fans, to do it in a way that builds new fans, we're certainly aware of. No promises, no commitments in one direction or in the other, but we are aware. "
Crossing of animals
Son-Aime said that the success of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp bodes well for the success of the next episode of this franchise.
"We see a tremendous opportunity to use the mobile platform to introduce intellectual property to consumers who may not be so familiar. Animal Crossing is a great example. Huge interaction with Pocket Camp," he said. he says. "The fans really appreciate this experience, we present it to new consumers, which is a good omen for the next passage of animals".
Yoshi

In fact, he is making very good progress.
Nintendo has confirmed that Yoshi for Switch is still in development, but has been postponed until next year. The Nintendo website now lists Yoshi as a 2019 release.
"They've really made progress, they've decided to make some improvements, so they'll take a little more time and that's why we do not show them this year at the show," says IGN, "But I think that you can wait for some updates later in 2018. "
Originally announced at E3 2017, Nintendo has introduced a full demo with a brand new cardboard aesthetic. At the time, Yoshi was scheduled for release in 2018, but now we know we will most likely see it next year. Pre-orders for Yoshi are still open on Amazon.
Star Fox
Despite the absence of official retaliation for the franchise – be it the famous Star Fox Grand Prix or something entirely new – Ubisoft revealed during its E3 conference that Star Fox will be a playable character in the version Switch their new space adventure game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
The Switch version will come with an exclusive version of an Arwing fighter and will offer exclusive story missions to Star Fox, which according to Ubisoft will fit seamlessly into the Starlink tradition.
