Nintendo recently tweeted a new video of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate video footage for the Wendy's College tour, and User Twitter AlphaOblivion7 was the first to realize that the film shows a split second of the SNES scene of Mute City with a new element.
The spoilers are following for a rumor that is currently known as the "Grinch escape":
The article in question looks like a shoot, which does not seem to be connected to any of the franchises depicted so far. However, one of the newcomers mentioned in Grinch's rumor is Isaac's Golden sunand the Sprout object strangely resembles the shoots of this series, which turns into a climbing vine when growth psynergy is used.

While the shoot represents the spell, the bubble would be a bubble of psynergy that appears in Golden sun as well as.
That said, this possibility is still inconclusive, Super Smash Bros. uses the Sprout icon as a wildcard in multiple places. It could simply be a placeholder for a different original item:
