Earlier this month, Chris Taylor – a terminally ill patient, whom he was told recently that he only had a few months left to live in – shared his fears with Twitter for not play games this year, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which does not come out until the last month of 2018.
I'm really scared of not being able to play the ultimate

December is far away for someone who is already bedridden …

I know it's childish to get rid of a video game but breaking means a lot to me and when the ultimate looks so good it breaks my heart

Sorry to be sad during the hype but to hear about things like smash and DMC5 is starting to get painful to listen to and reminds me that I will not be able to play those games that I've been waiting for since years for random chances to kill me slowly as soon as they're announced

What followed this thread was an example of how, sometimes, the Internet can be a great place. Shortly after the commissioning of this topic, the Nintendo community gathered around Chris with support in the form of encouragement and retweets. And apparently, the latter was important enough to grab the attention of Nintendo, who recently introduced a demo of Chris's exclusive Nintendo Switch.
WE SAID THE GUYS
Today, two Nintendo representatives came with the E3 demo of Smash Ultimate and I was able to play it for 3 hours with a local friend, my brother and my mother đŸ™‚
I have images coming in but still like sacred shit
Thank you to everyone who did this for me, you are all the real champion

I found out that they came on Tuesday and could not say that even a switch with a demo is a great value target to fly, just like why I could not keep the demo (even if I absolutely expected that)
Seriously, thank you very much, you all did that

Hat to Nintendo for that, but most importantly, best wishes to Chris during this scary and difficult time of his life. I hope you have to hit the ice climbers ass. And hope that Capcom follows suit with its demo of Devil May Cry 5.
