Nintendo Switch may soon have a multimedia application for YouTube – Rumor

Users have received suggestions for YouTube apps on the eShop.

The Nintendo Switch may already have a software library, which is unusual for most systems shortly after their initial launch, while the unique portability and usability of the Hybrid Handheld also contributed to success met up to now. But you know what is not so great on the switch?

Just about everything else. More specifically, however, the surprising lack of multimedia capabilities of the Switch. Of course, I understand that the switch is primarily a gaming device. That's why it was bought, but it does not even have a YouTube application (it has Hulu), which seems to be a something as basic as most devices nowadays seem to have. Not the switch though.

However, this could be about to change soon. ResetEra users report that they have seen suggestions for applications for the YouTube multimedia application in the Nintendo Switch eShop, which also mentions, interestingly enough, that the application is coming on the switch as of November 8, only three. days away. The French point of sale NintendoHOME also reports the same thing on its Twitter page (you can consult the Tweet below).

To be honest, it would not be very surprising if that were true. In fact, as I already mentioned, it is quite surprising that something as universal as YouTube has taken so long to get to the Switch. Anyway, for now, this is not a confirmation, so you should not take it as such. It seems likely, however, that we will finally have a YouTube application on the Switch in the coming days.
