Nvidia confirms problems with the first batches of its RTX 2080Ti GPUs

When it comes to PC gaming, the players on the GPU battlefield are just AMD and Nvidia. Over the years, the two companies have clashed, bringing a GPU plant with each new generation of GPUs. While AMD will launch no new product this year, Nvidia has been very concerned about the launch of the new GPU RTX series. The RTX 2080Ti is a real fist and has been in preparation for some time now. Unfortunately, the long-awaited GPU has caused a lot of problems for its new owners. In addition to the annoying stops, the GPUs are dying by magic. Finally, Nvidia heard the cry of her audience and responded.

Nvidia admits that the fault lies in the RTX 2018Ti

After almost a week of users complaining that their GPUs are not working, Nvidia finally responded and admitted to being a problem with the GPU. Nvidia took advantage of its GeForce forums to share the problem, saying that:

"The limited test fumbles of the first cards have been causing problems faced by some customers with the RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition … We are ready to help customers facing problems. Visit www.nvidia.com/support to chat live with NVIDIA's technical support team (or to send us an email) and we'll take care of it. "

Initially, Nvidia was reluctant to mention anything about a GPU failure. However, even in his statement, that does not quite explain. Although they are indirectly indebted, they do not really say what's wrong with their GPU at $ 1,200. Apart from the fact that the cards failed during quality assurance tests, we are not sure what prevents some RTX 2080Ti GPUs from running. Well, if you thought they were only reference models, you could not be further from the truth. The failures of the RTX 20180Ti after-sales service have even surfaced, a particular graphics processor actually taking fire while in use.

We are confident that Nvidia will be able to help all of its customers, but it is also quite frightening to think that a GPU costing more than $ 1,000 could simply stop working. What do you think of the RTX 2080Ti? Share them with us in the comments section below!
