NVIDIA RTX 2080 Display Heads Company Mobile Displays

First of all? Because the Nvidia train is in full swing with the upcoming launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile GPU. Following the successful Gamescom revelation, the card is expected to feature in the company's new Turing Mobility lineup for the thriving gaming notebook market.

After the company eagerly awaited fans with their next-gen Turing cards with specialized real-time ray tracing equipment, many were already demanding information about the release of mobile variants. Although very few details are available, recent reports indicate a launch date in just a few weeks.

As it stands, Nvidia plans to release its mobile GPUs while taking advantage of the publicity wave of last month's grand launch in Cologne. Although they have not yet formulated anything official, leaks and rumors from observers and laptop makers suggest that Turing-based mobile GPUs are on the cusp.

Last August, Canadian IT developer Eurocom Hot Hardware has indicated that a number of unannounced mobile GPUs will arrive on the gaming laptops. New features include RTX 2080 and even the next generation of GTX.

More recent developments come from the Github code repository where an entry has attracted the attention of many with its label "Turing TU104M: 1eab". Although this is not confirmed, the fact that it is the suffix "M" is convinced that it is the mobile GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080.

The additional proof lies in the Devicehunt website, where the same device ID is associated, you guessed it, at RTX 2080 Mobile. While this may very well be the definitive proof that the mobile GPU is running, there is always information that players want the most, and that is if the cards will feature Nvidia's Max-Q design.

Fortunately, an alleged source of Wccftech said the design would actually be integrated with the new maps. According to the source, they will put 2080 Max-Q in the current laptops of 15 and 17 computers with the help of Nvidia.

This is great news for players who want more power but do not want to sacrifice mobility. Right now, integrating the Max-Q design into their GPUs allows them to have the best performance available, minus the bulky tower.

Of course, nothing is fixed until Nvidia has spilled the beans. If the information turned out to be accurate, one of the major drawbacks will be the late publication of the RTX 2070 mobile versions, which should arrive sometime in the month of October. But, if Nvidia managed to keep the fans waiting for the RTX 2080, they could probably keep the hype still a few months.
