Like Microsoft's Christmas sales last Christmas, the company's dealings with Cyber Monday are going fast, although you can still find some decent ones.
The company's Surface and Xbox contracts for Cyber Monday include discounts on the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Book 2. Historically, Microsoft has also introduced some breathtaking holiday offerings, offering hundreds to good to excellent notebooks. The list of Microsoft PC Contracts this year is generally composed of less expensive laptops and desktops with huge percentage discounts in the amount of about $ 200.
We have noted some notable exceptions to this rule, although there are some compromises. The MSI GP73 Leopard-001 notebook ($ 1099, $ 250 discount) and the MSI GE63 Raider ($ 1,349, $ 250 discount) include the Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor. The cheaper GP73 includes a larger 17-inch 1080p screen, but uses a low-key entry-level GTX 1050 GPU. The more expensive GE63 Raider combines the 8750H with a more powerful GTX 1060 GPU, allowing you to to balance the graphics processor and the processor a little more equitably.
In addition, Microsoft has reduced the price of the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen by $ 400, bringing it to $ 999. Its high price has put a damper on our review of the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen; this discount seems much more in keeping with its real value.
Microsoft is also good at offering older versions of quality laptops with decent discounts, which makes buying more convenient. Do not forget that the 8th generation Intel processors include several "subgenerations", so that a laptop with a 7th generation chip can have a year or two. For example, Microsoft offers a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series laptop with a 7th generation processor at $ 599.99
, $ 200 off. This is not quite the 7000 series notebook that we really liked, except for the screen, but it's still a good deal for Cyber Monday. Finally, beware: some of these "offers" are not offers at all. Example: the sale of the Dell XPS 13 9370 with a Core i7 with 8GB of memory and 256GB of SSD storage for $ 1,399. It is a superb laptop, but there is no agreement here. We checked the configurations of our initial review and found that Dell was offering it at the same price. Ditto for the Dell XPS 15 9570 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage; Microsoft is claiming $ 300 off its $ 1,699 price, but Amazon is offering the same machine for $ 300 less, or $ 1,399.
