Capcom inaugurated today Tokyo Game Show with a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated Devil May Cry 5 showing off a gameplay of Dante. While the protagonist of the series is older and more scrupulous than ever, his usual frenetic gameplay is back and seems really fun. This is our first look at Dante's gameplay DMC 5 and it does not disappoint. You have all the usual features: a red leather jacket, a trash soundtrack and too many weapons to count.
So, it's a confirmed thing: Dante is still the same Dante.
Even though he looks like your crazy drunk uncle now.
In addition, the official public relations presentation that made its entrance in the press next to the Tokyo Game Show trailer gives us a pretty interesting insight into the history of Devil May Cry 5. You can check it below:
The city went to hell and back, completely invaded by the demons of hell. It turns out that it is not only Red Grave City that has problems. They are everywhere. In Devil May Cry 5the legendary demon hunter Dante teams up with demon hunter Nero and armament artist Nico to push his investigation and extermination techniques to their limits. In a new trailer today, find Dante in action with his trusty Rebellion sword, his Ebony and Ivory weapons, and a crazy motorcycle that splits on the handlebars to create two-blade weapons. All this and more, including a glimpse of Dante shooting his Devil Trigger, in the trailer of Dante's most exaggerated action game in the history of the series.
Nero and Dante take on the infernal assault to go to the root of the mystery behind the demonic Qlipoth downtown. At their side, the heroines of the beloved series and partners Trish and Lady are making a comeback. The full game will feature three playable characters each with their own radically different style of play. Play as Nero, Dante and the new V, a mysterious new client of the "Devil May Cry" office that speaks poetic verses. More will be revealed about V in the coming months.
Devil May Cry 5 released March 8, 2019 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
