OnePlus and Amazon.in announced Monday the fourth anniversary of their partnership since the Chinese phone manufacturer arrived in India in late 2014 via an exclusive partnership with Amazon for the sale of its smartphones. Since then, the company has expanded its offline sales and to its own online store, but Amazon remains its exclusive online retail partner in India. With this announcement, the two companies also revealed that buyers' rewards would come into effect on November 30, 2018, on both Amazon.in and Croma, oneplus.in, the exclusive OnePlus and Reliance Digital offline stores.
As part of this announcement, the fourth anniversary offers will include an RS. 1,500 rebates on all Citibank credit and debit cards with the purchase of the OnePlus 6T. Buyers can also use EMIs free of charge up to 6 months. Apart from that, existing users of OnePlus and Apple iPhone will be eligible for a supplement of RS. 3,000 rebates on the exchange of their handsets for the purchase of the OnePlus 6T. Although November 28th is the day of posting of these offers, OnePlus has not yet specified the expiry date of its period.
Commenting on the occasion, Vikas Agarwal, CEO of OnePlus India, said in a statement: "Two companies obsessed with the customer experience, OnePlus and Amazon.in were perfectly suited from the start. Over the years, our partnership has been extremely successful, with the two companies mutually mutually exploiting each other's assets for mutual benefit. After four years, we hope many years of collaboration to enhance growth and customer experience. "
OnePlus notes that its partnership with Amazon.in has enabled the launch of customer programs such as invitation-only purchases, sponsorship programs and the "Fast AF" sale.
Last month, a Counterpoint report indicated that OnePlus was the first high-end smartphone maker in India in the third quarter of 2018, with a market share of about 30%. For the most part, the company ranked first for smartphone shipments that were priced above the RS. 30,000 marks, Samsung and Apple respectively taking the second and third positions.
